DIETARY RECOMMENDATIONS TO FOLLOW DURING COVID-19
COVID-19, which has had tremendous effects on our everyday life, makes it necessary for us to take individual measures. An adequate and balanced diet stands out among these measures. There is no single recommended diet to follow during the pandemic, and an adequate and balanced diet requires diversity.
Pay attention to the following:
- Make sure to consume fresh fruits and vegetables every day
- Include omega-3-rich fish in your diet twice a week
- Consume legumes regularly every day
- Do not forget to consume kefir or other fermented foods that contain probiotics
- Consume quality animal proteins (meat, egg, milk, and other dairy products)
- Avoid processed foods, canned food, and excessive salt and sugar
- Drink plenty of water
