Pneumonia Threatens Life
Pneumonia is defined as the filling of the air sacs in the lungs with microbial agents such as bacteria, viruses or fungi.
Being late in the treatment of the disease is usually quite dangerous. In fact, the disease is life-threatening, especially in children under the age of 2 and individuals over the age of 65.
However, thanks to early diagnosis and timely treatment with appropriate antibiotics, it is possible to prevent most of the pneumonia-related deaths.
