Orthopedics and Traumatology
`Movement is life, life is movement`
In our Orthopedics and Traumatology department; we perform diagnostics and treatment of diseases develop in muscle and skeletal system. We aim to have our patients get healthy and go back to their daily lives as soon as possible by using modern treatment methods.
Trauma
Various problems from a simple soft tissue contusion to fragmented fractures in large bones with factors such as a fall, sports injury, occupational accident or traffic accident may occur. Treatment of fractures is done with plaster treatment if the conditions are suitable or with surgical treatment by our physicians, using medical supplies in compliance with the latest technological developments.
Joint Arthritis - Arthrolith
Prosthesis surgery is performed to hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints with advanced level of joint arthritis, i.e. in patients in with painful arthrolith. The purpose is to return the joints to their previous functions as much as possible without pain. Shortly after the surgery, the patient stands up and walks or early movement can be given to the joint.
Arthroscopy and Sports injuries
The diagnosis and treatment by arthroscopic method can be applied to all joints in our clinic with the purpose of treatment of the damages caused by sports injuries. Thus, the operation is completed without bleeding or damage to surrounding tissues by entering the joint over a camera through tiny incisions. Therefore, the patient can return to his/her daily life and work as soon as possible.
Within the scope of arthroscopic knee surgeries; meniscus ruptures, cruciate ligaments and cartilage injuries can be treated.
Likewise, treatments of ruptures in the shoulder area, frozen shoulder and chronic shoulder dislocations can be performed with shoulder arthroscopy.
Spinal Diseases
Back pain, disc slip, spinal and cervical disc hernia, spinal fractures, tumor and infections are treated using modern surgical methods. The surgical regenerative treatment is performed in advanced degrees of spinal curvatures such as kyphosis and scoliosis. Spinal fractures based on osteoporosis can be treated by bone cement method (vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty) under local anesthesia with closed method without any bleeding during surgery.
