Insufficient Water Consumption is the Cause of Kidney Stones
Nutritional factors are of great importance in the formation of kidney stones. Especially in summer months, our metabolism loses more water than normal.
However, most of the time, we don`t think of drinking water unless we are thirsty. Insufficient water consumption can lead to the formation of kidney stones.
In addition, genetic factors, some drugs used, and excessive consumption of foods containing animal protein such as salt, red meat, offal, chicken and seafood also play an important role in stone formation.
