Mouth Sores Can Be a Danger Sign
Aphthous ulcers are painful sores in the mouth that appear to be pierced in the form of red buttons, with a white center. This problem is known as one of the most common oral diseases, and according to statistics, its incidence in society is approximately 20 percent.
The sores in the mouth are mostly minor sores that develop due to traumatic reasons and go away on their own. However, apart from this, it can sometimes be the first sign of a disease group that varies from various diseases that affect the immune system, nutritional deficiencies, intestinal diseases and even cancers.
Therefore, experts recommend consulting a doctor for control purposes if more than 3 times a year and more than 5 mm or multiple sores appear in the mouth at the same time.
